Ved Srivastava

Ved Srivastava is an accomplished professional in the peptide therapeutics field, currently serving as President and Co-founder of Global Peptide Science Institute since November 2020. Simultaneously, Ved holds the position of Vice Chair and Member of the USP BIO1 – Peptides and Insulins Expert Committee at US Pharmacopeia since June 2012 and has been Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Perpetual Medicines, a biotechnology company that utilizes AI for peptide drug development, since April 2023. Previously, Ved served as Vice President and Head of Chemistry at Aktis Oncology until April 2023, and as President of the American Peptide Society from June 2019 to June 2021. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Intarcia Therapeutics, GlaxoSmithKline, Biosynth, and Amylin Pharmaceuticals. Ved Srivastava holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from The Central Drug Research Institute and the University of Lucknow.
