Yan-Bo Yang

Yan-Bo Yang is the President and CEO of BioPharmaDev, Inc. since 2012, specializing in analytical and drug product development services within cGMP environments for the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and dietary supplement sectors. Concurrently, Yan-Bo serves on various committees and working groups at the US Pharmacopeia, including roles in plastics packaging, customer advisory, and stakeholder forums. Yan-Bo is a board member and past president of the Sino-American Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Professionals Association (SABPA) and has held leadership roles in AOAC INTERNATIONAL and the Chinese American Chromatography Association (CACA). Previous experience includes directing pharmaceutical development at B. Braun Medical and research at The Separations Group, Inc. Yan-Bo's educational background includes a PostDoc at Purdue University, a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Ghent University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Beijing Institute of Technology.
