Albert DeCady

Albert DeCady is an adaptive leader and intellectual property attorney with extensive experience in education and patent law. They served as a teacher at the NYC Board of Education and Upward Bound from 1990 to 1993. Currently, they hold the position of Acting Director at the USPTO and have previously worked as a patent attorney at Sughrue Mion PLLC. Albert has a strong educational background, including a Juris Doctor degree in Intellectual Property Law from American University Washington College of Law, as well as multiple master's degrees in engineering and information systems. They are also a Senior Executive Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School and a Fellow in Excellence in Government leadership.
