Brian Cedar

Brian Cedar is a skilled professional with over thirty years of experience in policing and administrative investigations. Currently serving as the Chief of the Investigations and Adjudication Division at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Brian oversees internal administrative investigations and advises senior government officials. They are also an Adjunct Associate Professor at both the University of Maryland Global Campus and George Washington University, teaching various criminal justice topics. Previously, Brian held the position of Captain at the Maryland State Police, commanding the Criminal Investigations Division. Brian is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Staff and Command and holds a Master’s Degree in Management from The Johns Hopkins University.
