Catherine Ho is an accomplished design primary examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) since June 2016, previously serving as a design patent examiner. Catherine has extensive freelance experience as an illustrator, specializing in book illustrations, children's print design, gallery exhibitions, murals, and custom projects since May 2011. Additionally, Catherine authored and illustrated works for Comme des Geants from June 2015 to January 2016. As a graduate teaching assistant at the Maryland Institute College of Art from September 2013 to May 2015, Catherine supported foundation and senior students in illustration courses and graduate thesis advising under respected professors. Furthermore, Catherine gained curatorial experience as a curatorial assistant at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Art in 2010, contributing to exhibition pamphlet design and facilitating communication with overseas galleries. Catherine holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art, awarded between 2013 and 2015.
