Daniel Lane

Daniel Lane is a Patent Examiner at the USPTO since 2015, with a previous background as a Structural Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation from 2010 to 2014, where responsibilities included design engineering and stress analysis for the Dream Chaser commercial crew program. Earlier experience includes serving as a Tactical Psychological Operations Detachment Non-commissioned Officer in Charge in the US Army from 2003 to 2011, managing and training soldiers during Operation Iraqi Freedom without losses. Daniel also worked as a Mental Health Worker at Devereux Cleo Wallace from 2002 to 2005, providing treatment for children and adolescents. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Denver.
