Dawei Jiang

Dawei Jiang is an experienced technology professional with a diverse background in software engineering and cloud development. Currently serving as Chief Cloud Engineer at the USPTO since May 2012, Dawei leads initiatives in AI-driven cloud development and optimization-as-a-service. Previously, as Chief Software Architect for the State of Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Dawei successfully transitioned over 30 IBM mainframe systems to modern digital services. Dawei's earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer and Development Lead at Vegas.com, where involvement in the Cyllenium e-commerce solution was pivotal, and a Senior Programmer Analyst position at Texas Mutual Insurance Company, focusing on an Agency Management System. With a Master of Science in Software Engineering from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Peking University, Dawei combines solid technical expertise with extensive leadership experience.
