Farouk Bruce

Farouk Bruce is an experienced Biomedical Engineer currently serving as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO since September 2016. Previously, Farouk worked as a Biomedical Engineer at Surgical Neurophysiology, where responsibilities included the maintenance of surgical neuro-monitoring medical devices and conducting compliance assessments. Earlier experience includes a role as a Student Assistant in the Environmental Health and Safety Department at U.C. Riverside, where Farouk managed hazardous materials data, conducted training for researchers, and performed chemical inventory assessments. Farouk holds a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, Riverside.
