George Ulsh

Supervisory Patent Examiner

George Ulsh is an experienced professional in the field of biomedical engineering and patent examination. Currently serving as a Supervisory Patent Examiner at the USPTO since February 2014, George has also held roles as a Trainer and Primary Patent Examiner, focusing on medical device patents. Prior to this, George founded ChitO2-Clot, a biopolymer-based wound dressing designed for various bleeding scenarios. Additional experience includes contributions as a Laboratory Engineer at Endomedix, where George developed study protocols and quality testing procedures, and as Director of Operations & Quality Assurance at Advanced Technology & Capital Inc., achieving ISO 9001 registration and developing innovative medical device solutions. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
