Jay Miller is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in patent examination and semiconductor equipment remarketing. Currently serving as a Primary Patent Examiner at the USPTO since March 2008, Jay specializes in the vapor coating area at the GS-14 level. Prior to this role, Jay held several positions at General Electric and GE Capital from 1999 to 2008, excelling as a Remarketing Program Manager, where significant achievements included spearheading the sale of a complete FAB from Austria to China and consistently exceeding sales expectations. Jay also worked at Comdisco as a Product Specialist in deposition and gained valuable engineering experience as a Process Engineer at Watkins-Johnson, contributing to the startup of CVD furnaces across multiple international locations. Jay holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
