Jeffrey Fredman

Jeffrey Fredman is an Administrative Patent Judge at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where they review adverse decisions of examiners focusing on biotechnology and mechanical patents. Since 2007, they have authored over 2,100 Appeal Decisions and participated in a significant number of AIA trial proceedings. Jeffrey previously served as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO from 1995 to 2007, where they contributed to system design and trained numerous junior examiners. They hold a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School, and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Psychology from the University of Maryland College Park.
