Karin Ferriter

Karin Ferriter is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law. From 1985 to 2015, Karin held various positions at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including Primary Patent Examiner and Senior Legal Advisor, where their work focused on patent law and policy. Karin served as IP Attaché at the US Mission to the World Trade Organization, addressing intellectual property issues related to public health. Currently, as a Senior Advisor, they work on the National Patent Application Drafting Competition and focus on leadership priorities in drug patent issues and mentoring in the field of intellectual property. Karin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from George Mason University School of Law.
