Ken Malkowski

Ken Malkowski is a seasoned professional in the field of intellectual property, currently serving as a Primary Patent Examiner for Autonomous Vehicles at the USPTO since July 2012. Malkowski has held multiple roles at the USPTO, including PTAB Law Clerk, where responsibilities included drafting written opinions on appeals and participating in appeal conferences. As a Patent Academy Trainer, Malkowski delivered training on patent examiner duties and provided guidance to new patent examiners. Engagement in community outreach involved interactions with educational institutions and the development of programming for stakeholders in the Midwest United States. Previous experience includes a tenure as an Intellectual Property Attorney at Foley & Lardner LLP, focusing on patent prosecution and litigation in the automotive sector, as well as roles in law and engineering.
