Michael Zecher

Michael Zecher is an Administrative Patent Judge at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where they have served as the Lead Administrative Patent Judge for the Patent Trial and Appeal Board since 2017. In this role, they manage a docket of cases, supervise other judges and staff, and contribute to the Board's strategic planning and fiscal responsibilities. Previously, Zecher worked as a Patent Attorney for the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences from 2009 to 2011 and held the position of Patent Examiner. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of Georgia, a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from The George Washington University Law School.
