Will Covey

Will Covey is an experienced attorney and Chief Compliance Officer at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where they lead a diverse team investigating and prosecuting practitioner misconduct. Previously, Will served as Acting General Counsel at the USPTO, providing legal advice on intellectual property matters and supervising a staff of 112. A Colonel in the United States Army Reserve, Will is currently assigned to the Pentagon, with prior service in Iraq and Afghanistan. Will holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, a BS from Fordham University, and a Master of Science from the United States Army War College. Additionally, they completed an executive fellowship at Harvard Kennedy School.
