Bailey Helfer

Bailey Helfer has been working in the software engineering and Autocad design fields since 2018. In 2021, they joined USS Vision Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they developed custom computer vision applications using Python and OpenCV, designed and maintained SQLite and PostgreSQL databases, wrote SQL queries, trained and deployed custom AI/Machine learning models for machine vision projects, and wrote front-end and back-end code for web applications using Python Flask for backend and HTML, CSS and Javascript for front-end. Prior to this, they worked at CCS Design LLC as an Autocad Designer, where they designed, assembled, and built End of Arm Tools, used AutoCAD to design 3D models and annotated 2D drawings, and partook in virtual design reviews with customers via TeamViewer.

Bailey Helfer is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, which they began in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2022.
