USSONAR aims to:
Foster the training of physicians and allied health professionals in ultrasonography for the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of rheumatic disease.

Establish guidelines for image acquisition and interpretation.

Promote research relevant to ultrasonography of rheumatic disease.
