Jeff May

Deputy Director Of Command, Control, Communications, & Computer (c4) Systems Directorate at United States Strategic Command

Jeff May has extensive experience in command, control, communications, and computer systems within various military organizations. Jeff served as the Director of Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Systems at JFCC-GS from October 2015 to the present. Prior to that, they were the Deputy Director of Command, Control, Communications, & Computer Systems Directorate at the United States Strategic Command from July 2013 to the present. In this role, they led a team in operating 3 networks and executed command and control of the nation's nuclear and strategic forces. Before that, they served as the Director, Training and Doctrine Command Capability Manager for Global Network Enterprise at the U.S. Army Signal Center from July 2012 to July 2013, where they led the migration and integration of independent networks. From July 2010 to July 2011, they served as the Director, Plans & Engineering at the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command, where they implemented global Information Technology engineering programs. Jeff also served as the Chief Liaison Officer, Joint Task Force Global Network Operations at the Defense Information Systems Agency from July 2006 to June 2010, where they worked on issues related to the defense of the Global Information Grid. In addition, they served as the Program Manager for Global Transportation Network at the U.S. Transportation Command in 2005.

Jeff May has a Master's Degree in Military and Strategic Studies, which they obtained from U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, PA from 2011 to 2012. Jeff also holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science, which they completed at Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, CA from 1996 to 1997. Additionally, they have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Creighton University. In terms of certifications, Jeff May has obtained an ITIL V3 Foundation Certification in April 2015.
