Matt Barker

Major General, Mobilization Assistant to the Deputy Commander

Matt Barker is a seasoned operations and program manager with extensive experience in the defense aerospace sector. They served in various leadership roles, including as the Minuteman III Missile Launch Crew Commander and Chief Instructor at the 321st Missile Wing, where they achieved a historic readiness rate. In the United States Air Force, they led operations on multiple aircraft and received two Air Medals for combat missions. Currently, Matt holds the position of Major General, Mobilization Assistant to the Deputy Commander at United States Strategic Command and has an ongoing commitment to education with certifications from Harvard University and Syracuse University.
