Stephen Gibson

Chief, Legislative Affairs at United States Strategic Command

Stephen Gibson has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Chief of Legislative Affairs at the United States Strategic Command since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Legislative Liaison for the same organization from August 2016 to October 2021.

Additionally, they held positions such as Chief of Resource Integration Branch at USSTRATCOM from September 2005 to June 2008, and Operations Officer at the Air Force Space Command from September 2004 to September 2005.

Starting in 1991, Gibson worked as an Operations Trainer and Evaluator, Command Evaluator, and Requirements Staff Officer in the United States Air Force. Stephen held these positions with increasing responsibilities until February 2001.

Stephen Gibson completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at Valdosta State University from 1986 to 1990. From 1992 to 1994, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at Colorado State University. Finally, in 2003 and 2004, Stephen attended the Air Command and Staff College, earning their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Military Operational Art and Science/Studies.
