Analysis Team Chief at United States Strategic Command

Thomas Gray has a diverse work experience spanning over several different positions. Thomas began their career in 1991 in the US Army, where they served for 24 years in various roles, including logistics and nuclear and counterproliferation. Thomas then moved on to work as an Assessment Branch Chief at the United States Strategic Command from 2007 to 2010, leading a team of analysts and developing new analysis tools. Thomas also worked as a Project Manager at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency from 2002 to 2005, managing initiatives related to defensive hardening technology. Additionally, they served as a Plans Officer at the Combined Training Advisory Group in Afghanistan from 2010 to 2011, where they increased country-wide training capacity and managed construction and resourcing. Most recently, they worked as an Analysis Team Chief at the United States Strategic Command, supporting decision-making and conducting advanced analytic studies.

Thomas Gray earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Michigan Technological University from 1987 to 1991. Thomas then pursued further education at the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Nuclear Engineering. In addition to their academic achievements, Thomas Gray received a certification for being cleared for Top Secret information and granted access to Sensitive Compartmented Information based on a single scope background investigation completed on October 24, 2013.
