Thomas Stephens has worked in the software engineering industry since 2004. Their first job was a Co-Op Engineer at Dolphin Technology from 2004 to 2006. Thomas then moved on to work as a Senior Software Engineer at AMD from 2006 to 2013. During their time at AMD, they developed a large C# application for planning and executing automated tests, and reporting on their results. Thomas also developed a framework for developing automated tests in Ruby & Python, a scripting bridge to invoke C# methods from Ruby & Python, and a global MS SQL Server back-end to manage test plans and store test results. Additionally, they used Qt & WebKit to integrate Backbone.js-based GUI into Windows. Forms application, without relying on backend server. Thomas also developed cross-platform hardware testing and configuration applications in C++, a low-level platform abstraction layer for register access, and Qt-based GUI front-ends to allow testers to configure or stress hardware features. Finally, they have been working as a Software Engineer at uStudio since 2013.
