Ted Nelson

Ted Nelson has had a long and varied career in the television industry. Ted began in 1986 as a self-employed Technical Manager/Director, working with clients such as BET, Comedy Central, CSTV, ESPN, Fox, MTV, NBC, Oxygen, and UPN. In 1997, they joined CBS News as a Technical Director, where they supervised a 15-member technical crew and technical directed the 5pm, 6pm, and 11pm daily newscasts. Ted then moved to MTV Networks in 2000 as a Technical Director and Technical Manager, responsible for scouting locations and procuring permits and power for remotes, in-house events, daily shows, and specials. In 2004, they took on the role of General Manager and Director of Technical Services at Atlantic Video, overseeing engineering, transmission, technical production, and IT, and reporting directly to the President and CFO. Since 2009, they have been the CEO of USTV, heading toward the company's ten-year anniversary. Ted has worked with clients such as Embassy Row (Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Watch What Happens Live), Impractical Jokers, Full Frontal, NBCSports, and Lyft, and has grown the Project Management and Facilities Design side of the business.

Ted Nelson attended Cayuga Community College from 1983 to 1985 and obtained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Telecommunications and Broadcasting.
