Ben M

Ben M is an experienced Defence Manager at UTAC since February 2024, specializing in managing military vehicle testing programs with a focus on performance, reliability, and safety, alongside full P&L ownership and financial oversight. Prior to this role, Ben served as Propulsion Fluids Test Manager at Intertek, leading teams in delivering ISO17025 accredited tests and developing EV fluids programs. Ben also held key positions at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, contributing to the Powertrain Systems and Fuels Group and the Young Member's Board. Previous experience includes principal engineering roles at Millbrook, where responsibilities encompassed CEC additive testing and the development of next-generation gasoline engines. Ben's early career involved project leadership in low carbon propulsion technologies at the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK. Ben holds a PhD in Fundamentals of Alternative Fuels Combustion and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University of London.
