James Pearson

James Pearson is a Principal Engineer in Powertrain, currently leading the test support team for the Engine testing department, focused on calibration, maintenance, and electrical aspects. They manage multiple workstreams and oversee CAPEX projects, ensuring efficient operations at the engine test facility. James has prior experience as a Senior Engineer and Graduate Powertrain Engineer at UTAC, where they worked on various engine calibration and durability projects. They have also contributed to race engineering in the British Touring Car Championship with Motorbase Performance. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Motorsport Technology from the University of Hertfordshire.
