April Simmons is the Corporate Relations Coordinator at the College of Business at The University of Texas at Arlington, where she plays a key role in building strategic partnerships, fostering employer engagement, and enhancing career opportunities for students. With her unique combination of experience and education, April works tirelessly to connect UTA students with valuable internship and career pathways, helping them navigate the professional world with confidence.

April earned her degree in Pre-Law and Criminal Justice from UTA, bringing a strong academic foundation to her professional career. She is also a proud Army veteran, a background that instilled discipline, leadership, and a deep sense of service. Over the course of 30 years, April has gained extensive experience in sales, working across various sectors including telecommunications, residential and commercial real estate, and business development. Her expertise in these fields has allowed her to develop a broad network and a keen understanding of the business world.

In addition, April has been a licensed private investor since 2019, demonstrating her commitment to financial literacy and entrepreneurial growth. Her diverse career experiences, combined with her passion for helping others succeed, make her an invaluable asset to the UTA College of Business community.
