Travis Downs

Travis Downs has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Travis is currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at UTC RETAIL since June 2021. Prior to this, Travis worked at Enetics, Inc. for almost a decade, where they held various roles including General Manager from January 2017 to June 2021, Operations Manager from March 2015 to December 2016, and Production Manager from December 2012 to March 2015. Before working at Enetics, Inc., Travis worked at Trison Business Solutions, Inc. at General Motors Hydrogen Fuel Cell Research Center as the Lead Test Engineer from October 2005 to December 2012. Their responsibilities included designing, building, and testing fuel cells, performing diagnostic testing, and managing the testing schedule. Travis also gained experience at Trade Winds Marina as an Operations Assistant from January 1997 to August 2001, where they assisted with day-to-day operations, delivered boats, performed mechanical maintenance, and installed boat hoists and docks.

Travis Downs pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their enrollment at the University at Buffalo from 1996 to 1999. During this period, they focused on studying engineering. Following that, they attended Monroe Community College in 2000 and 2001, where they earned an Associate's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies. Travis then continued their educational journey at SUNY Geneseo from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies.
