Julio Marote

Julio Marote is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in information technology management and consulting. Since April 2015, Julio has served as the Information Technology Manager at UTE, overseeing the Division of Information and Communication Technologies. Previously, Julio held the position of Chief Technology Officer at UTE and co-founded Maglury Company S.A., which specializes in satellite geo-referencing systems for transportation companies. Additional roles include Director at Cenco Consultoría, Senior Business Partner at Bayside Projects, and Senior Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank, among others. With a degree from Universidad de la República and additional training from the Organización de los Estados Americanos, Julio Marote has developed a comprehensive skill set in IT risk management, cybersecurity, and technology infrastructure.
