Richard S. has over 18 years of work experience in marketing and partner development. In 2021, they became the Head of Partner Development at Utelize Mobile, a company that was listed on the Financial Times List of Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies (2020) and was an Everline Future Fifty winner. Richard's role focused on achieving growth of Utelize's core business propositions, which deliver next-generation mobile data networking, enhanced mobile connectivity, improved data security and increased productivity for large enterprises. Additionally, they co-founded The Malvern Technology Network, a community focused on connecting local technology professionals, investors and founders to explore opportunities for collaboration.

In 2012, Richard S. co-founded BrandRefinery, a marketing agency that specializes in working with high-potential start-ups, scale-ups, entrepreneurs and SMEs. Richard also served as a Non-Executive Director at OmniCX, a B2B & B2C SaaS eCommerce platform, from 2016 to 2021. Additionally, they were the Director of Sales & Marketing at Exmed (now Iquarus) from 2009 to 2012, where they developed and productized complex high-value integrated healthcare solutions.

Prior to this, Richard S. worked as a Marketing Manager at Michael Page from 2006 to 2009 and as a Marketing Executive at GlaxoSmithKline PLC from 2003 to 2006. During this time, they conducted primary and secondary market research activities to help understand the quality of the nation's oral hygiene and various potential gastrointestinal ailments.

Richard S. began their educational journey in 1999 when they attended Brunel University London and earned a BSc in Psychology. From 2010 to 2012, they attended the University of Worcester and obtained a PG Dip. in Management Studies with a focus on Business/Commerce, General. Finally, they returned to the University of Worcester from 2012 to 2013 and earned a Masters in Business Administration MBA with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.
