Jan Morel

Jan Morel is an experienced professional with a robust background in technical management and energy expertise. Currently serving as Technisch directeur at Utexbel since November 2002, Jan is responsible for energy management, investments, facilities, and leading the environmental department. Jan holds multiple energy consultancy certifications and has operated as Zaakvoerder at Technimo since 1995, possessing expertise in energy efficiency and environmental management. Previous roles include Plant Manager at Balta and Technical Manager at Moerman, where Jan focused on investment management, modernization, and product development. Jan's education includes a degree in Environmental Coordination from Amelior and various other qualifications in management and engineering, demonstrating a strong foundation in both technical and managerial aspects of the industry. Additionally, Jan is a member of the Regioraad Voka Vlaamse Ardennen.
