Daniel Guerrini

Daniel Guerrini is a Professor at UTFPR, specializing in sociology and higher education. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the Universidade Estadual de Londrina, a Master's degree in Sociology, and a Doctorate in Sociology from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Daniel completed a sandwich PhD at the University of Tampere in Finland, focusing on comparative research between higher education systems in Brazil and Finland, and later undertook a postdoctoral fellowship at the Universidade de São Paulo, researching the sociology of science. Their research interests include intellectual property, higher education, science and technology, and the intersection of innovation with social sciences.
