Edson Hirata

Edson "China" Hirata holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from UEL (1993), a Master's in Applied Social Sciences from UEPG (2005), and a Doctorate in Physical Education from UEM (2020). Currently, they serve as a tenured professor at the Federal Technological University of Paraná in Campo Mourão and have been involved in managing sports entities through institutional agreements. Edson is also a vice president of the Paraná Basketball Federation (2023-2026) and has previously held the position of president of Campo Mourão Basquete from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they are a member of the Study and Research Group on Public Policies for Sport and Leisure (GEPPOL/UEM).
