Marlon Marcon is an accomplished data scientist and assistant professor at UTFPR, specializing in computer vision and deep learning. Marlon holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal do Paraná, where the focus of the thesis was on novel deep learning methods for visual object recognition. Previously, Marlon was a business partner at Mitah Technologies, leading software development projects from 2007 to 2011, and has gained international experience during a Ph.D. internship at the University of Bologna. Since 2015, Marlon has dedicated efforts to teaching and researching innovative solutions in artificial intelligence.
