Ruy Nakayama

Ruy Nakayama possesses extensive experience in engineering and education, with a career that spans several significant roles. At Knowha Industria Eletromecânica Ltda, Ruy served as Gerente Planejamento Estratégico and Organization Planner from September 1996 to December 2018, focusing on machine and automation solutions for production and quality control. Prior experience includes serving as Project Leader at Schindler Elevator K. K. and working as a Mechanical and Electronic Engineer at Furukawa, where responsibilities included machine design and factory engineering. In addition to industry experience, Ruy has been a Professor at UTFPR since August 1998, teaching topics related to automation and production. Ruy holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Paraná, a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from UTFPR, and a Doctorate in Production Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP.
