Simone de Almeida

Simone de Almeida is a professor and researcher in Computer Science at UTFPR, where they have served as a titular professor since 2001. They have played significant roles in academic programs, overseeing the dual degree in Computer Science and managing internships for the EAD Licentiature in Computing. Prior to their position at UTFPR, Simone was the manager of the IT department at Ibema Cia Brasileira de Papel from 1991 to 1999. Simone holds multiple degrees, including a doctorate in Production Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and master's and postgraduate qualifications in related fields.
