David Forfia

David Forfia is an experienced IT executive and board member, recognized as the 2021 Cleanie Gold Award winner. They possess a wide range of specialties, including IT turnaround skills, implementation of major IT systems, and vendor management. David has held various leadership positions, most notably serving as IT Director at Austin Energy from 1987 to 1998, and as Director of Enterprise Architecture & IT Transformation at the Electric Reliability Council of Texas from 2008 to 2019. Currently, they are a Senior Consultant at Utilicast and hold positions as Chairman Emeritus with the GridWise Architecture Council and as a board chair with SGIP. David is pursuing a BBA in Finance/Operations Research and an MBA at The University of Texas at Austin and St. Edward's University, respectively.
