Brian Ward

Brian Ward is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial database development. Currently serving as a Solution Architect at UDC since December 2023, Brian previously held the role of Senior GIS Consultant at Locana for over 14 years. Prior to that, Brian worked at CH2M HILL as an Associate GIS Developer/Analyst. Brian's early career includes positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University, as well as Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of North Alabama. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Geography with a focus on GIS and Resource Geography from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Geography from the University of North Alabama.
