David Leu

David Leu is a Research Engineer at Utility Global, where employment began in September 2020. Prior to this role, David served as a PhD Candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Utah from May 2016 to July 2020, mentoring students in fluid mechanics and multicomponent mass transfer. David also gained experience as a Research Development Engineering Intern at Utility Global and as a Research Fellow at Oregon State University, focusing on microfluidic devices for neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. Previous positions include Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University, where a Master's Thesis on spray drying for erythrocyte preservation was completed under the mentorship of Dr. Adam Higgins. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah, a Master’s Degree from Oregon State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from National Chung Cheng University.
