Dr. Robert Degeneff is the president of Utility Systems Technologies, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of electronic voltage-control power-conditioning products. Prior to this role, Degeneff was a professor of electric power engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they conducted research on transformer design and utility system planning. With 16 years of experience at General Electric in various managerial roles, Degeneff developed significant contributions to HVDC systems and transformer technology. They hold a bachelor’s degree from Kettering University, alongside a master’s degree and Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and have published over 90 papers and secured eight patents in their field.
