Ben Hicks

Ben Hicks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in machine learning and data analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Utility Warehouse since August 2022, Ben has successfully deployed a RAG chatbot and re-designed the customer credit scoring flow, significantly increasing sign-up conversion rates. Previously at Gopuff, Ben led efforts in demand forecasting and stock ordering across European stores, developing a bespoke forecasting algorithm. At Ocado Retail Ltd, Ben created predictive models for customer churn and personalized marketing strategies, leading to substantial revenue increases. Ben's analytical expertise is further evidenced by the development of automated tools and dashboards that have generated significant income for previous employers. Ben holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Durham University.
