Liam Thompson

Liam Thompson has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources, having worked in various leadership roles at different companies. Liam is currently the Head of People Services at Utility Warehouse, where they oversee the people services function and ensures a great employee experience. Prior to this, Liam worked as the Head of Employee Relations and People Operations at Utility Warehouse, where they established an Employee Relations function and built people leader confidence in managing HR challenges. Before joining Utility Warehouse, Liam served as the UK HR Director, Employee Relations at GSK, where they were responsible for developing and measuring HR and culture strategy. Liam also has experience in the hospitality industry, having worked at Travelodge Hotels Limited as the Head of People Services and Training. Overall, Liam has a diverse range of HR experience and a proven track record of leading and developing HR teams.

Liam Thompson attended Northumbria University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Human Resources Management with a field of study in Business Administration and Management. Liam also has additional certifications in Advanced Organization Design from Ashridge Executive Education, Hult International Business School, and a Mental Health First Aid Certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England, both obtained in 2018.
