Daniel Catalano

Daniel Catalano has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Daniel started their career as a Java Developer at Kennen Consulting and later worked as a Java Developer at PSA Peugeot Citroën. Daniel then joined Synthesis Group as an Android Developer before moving on to Asap Consulting S.A, where they worked as a Watson IBM Developer with Java, utilizing technologies such as Spring and AI technologies from IBM's BLUEMIX WATSON and Google's Voice Recognition API.

In 2018, Daniel worked at Softtek as an Android Developer and Backend Developer with Spring, where they followed the SCRUM methodology and implemented a microservices-oriented system architecture. Daniel gained experience with ElasticSearch database and code quality software like Sonar.

From 2017 to 2020, Daniel worked as a Freelance Software Developer, managing projects from scratch, working with clients, and leading small teams. Daniel primarily focused on Android development with Java and Kotlin, Backend Development with Spring, and Server Management at Amazon.

In 2020, Daniel joined VU Security as an Android Developer, utilizing Java to develop new functionalities and maintain the Facial Recognition SDK to enhance security for clients.

In 2021, Daniel moved to Tecsol Group S.A, where they worked as an Android Developer with Kotlin, specifically for the PROSEGUR client. Daniel'sresponsibilities included maintenance and adding new functionalities to an application used by security agents inside Prosegur trucks.

Currently, Daniel is working as an Android Developer at Intermedia IT since November 2021.

Daniel Catalano attended Escuela Tecnica Nº21 Fragata Libertad from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained a degree in Tecnico en Computacion Orientado a Empresas, specializing in Programación informática, aplicaciones específicas. In addition to their formal education, Daniel Catalano received certifications in Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer from Oracle in September 2017, and Cultural Inglesa from Cultural Inglesa John F Kennedy in January 2007.
