Chris Rollins is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software engineering and education. As of November 2023, Chris serves as Vice President of Engineering at UtilityAPI, having previously held the position of Director of Software Engineering there from September to November 2023. Prior to this, Chris contributed to Tesla as Head of Software Engineering for Renewable Energy Deployment, where responsibilities included scaling a software organization and enhancing business applications for a large solar customer base. Chris began a career in education as an English Teacher and Coordinator at ECC Foreign Language Institute and also tutored students in STEM subjects and test preparation. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
