Yi-Ping Lai

Yi-Ping Lai has two years of work experience. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at UtilityAPI, where they built a Django platform to request utility data from Share-My-Data API from major utility companies, compiling with Green Button and OAuth standard. Yi-Ping also maintained and extended utility coverage for collecting bills and usage data by web scraping with Selenium and data parsing in PDF/HTML/XML/CSV/JSON format with Python and Celery queue system. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a System Performance Engineer at ASML, where they designed and completed performance testing and feasibility studies, resulting in the baseline of extreme ultraviolet systems used by the world's largest chipmakers. In 2016, Lai earned a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, with an area of focus in Physical & Waves Electronics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
