Werner Toonk is an experienced interim (project) manager and consultant, currently serving at Toon Qui Fait since May 2018, focusing on enhancing clients' success in IT through temporary roles lasting between 4 to 24 months. Prior to this, Toonk held the position of Senior Consultant and Strategic IT Advisor at SIG from 2012 to September 2017, where guidance was provided on complex strategic issues related to investments, cost reductions, and risk management. Between 2002 and 2010, Toonk was a member of the daily management board of Amsterdam Oud-West as Stadsdeelwethouder, dedicated to improving the local community. From 1997 to 2002, Toonk worked as an IT Consultant at Accession, focusing on the advisory, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems. Academic credentials include an ir. in Informatics/Business Administration from the University of Twente (1991-1997), studies at Nyenrode Business University (2014-2015), and a Propedeuse in Law from VU Amsterdam (1999-2001), alongside a VWO diploma from College Noetsele (1985-1991).
