Nils Gerhardt

Nils Gerhardt is the Chief Technology Officer at Utimaco since April 2021, where responsibilities include defining and implementing the technological vision and product strategy while overseeing innovation and R&D development. Gerhardt serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board at isits AG International School of IT Security and has significant experience in leadership roles, including Chairman of the Board at GlobalPlatform® from November 2015 to April 2021, where the organization developed standards for secure digital services in numerous devices worldwide. Additionally, Gerhardt was Group VP at Giesecke+Devrient Mobile Security, managing products, solutions, and project management across the Americas, and held various strategic roles during a tenure at Giesecke & Devrient starting in 2004. Nils Gerhardt holds a Master of Science in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, a management certificate from the University of St. Gallen, and a diploma in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Hamburg.
