Colin Bernier

Colin Bernier, CFA, serves as the Associate Director of Private Equity at UTIMCO since August 2021, following a progressive career in private equity that included roles as Associate and Senior Analyst within the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as Investment Officer at the South Carolina Retirement System Investment Commission from October 2016 to July 2021, where Colin held various positions such as Associate Analyst and Junior Analyst. Earlier roles included internships at Finn Wealth Management and The Virtus Group, as well as co-fund management duties at the Carolina Fund. Colin earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business with a focus on Finance from the University of South Carolina and furthered education at Università Bocconi. Additionally, Colin has successfully completed Level II of the CAIA Program and Level III of the CFA Program.
