Emily Backus

Emily Backus, CPA is a skilled accountant with experience in tax compliance and accounting. Emily has held various positions at companies such as UTIMCO, Holtzman Partners, and PwC, where Emily has gained expertise in federal and state partnership tax compliance. Emily has a Master's degree in Taxation from the University of Texas-Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Our Lady of the Lake University. Additionally, Emily has experience in tutoring business subjects such as accounting, finance, and economics. Currently, Emily is pursuing an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Culinary Arts and Related Services at Austin Community College.
