Miles Pennington

Miles Pennington is an accomplished professional in the field of design, currently serving as Specially Appointed Advisor to the President for Design Vision at The University of Tokyo. In addition, Miles holds positions as a School Advisory Committee Member for the School of Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Co-Director of the DLX Design Academy at The University of Tokyo. As a Professor of Design Led Innovation at the Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo, Miles contributes significant expertise in design education and practice. Miles also serves as Co-Director at U-Tokyo DLX Design Lab. Educational qualifications include a Master of Design in Industrial Design Engineering from the Royal College of Art and a Diploma from Imperial College London in the same field, both obtained in the early 1990s.
