Richard Pinnell

Richard Pinnell has worked in various engineering roles since 2008. Richard began their career as a Research Engineer (EngD) at the University of Strathclyde in 2008. In 2013, they became an Electronic Engineer at The Magstim Company Ltd. Richard then moved to the Universität Freiburg as a Research Associate in 2014, followed by a similar position at the Université de Strasbourg in 2016. In 2017, Richard began working as an Electronic Engineer at the National Oceanography Centre. In 2020, they became an Electronics Engineer at HWM Water Pty Ltd. In 2021, they were promoted to Senior Electronics Engineer and then Principal Electronics Engineer at SouthWestSensor Limited. Richard currently serves as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Utonomy Ltd, a position they have held since 2023.

Richard Pinnell completed their MEng in Electronic Engineering at Bangor University from 2003 to 2008. Richard then went on to pursue an EngD in Medical Devices at the University of Strathclyde from 2008 to 2012.
